A Hook drainage engineer,
on call 24/7 with a clear price before we start.
Local Basingstoke drainage engineers covering Hook. Blocked drains, high-pressure jetting, CCTV surveys and drain repairs, with a clear price agreed before we lift a cover.

Hook works because of the trains. Waterloo is under three quarters of an hour away, which is exactly why so much new housing has gone up here in the last decade, on top of the older estates around the station and the streets further out toward Newnham. We cover RG27, about fifteen minutes down the A30, and a good chunk of our work now sits in those newer developments rather than the old village core. Burst pipes and no-heat call-outs are common in winter, and first-fix plumbing snags turn up more than you'd expect in houses barely five years old.
Junction 5 of the M3 sits right by the village, which is why commuters chose it in the first place, and the business park nearby keeps us busy with commercial work alongside the domestic jobs. Several of the newest estates east of the station are still under NHBC warranty in places, so we're often the second opinion after a builder's own plumber has fobbed someone off. Older Hook, nearer the church, still has some original drainage the new estates simply don't.
Most common Hook jobs

- Blocked drains near the station and the older village streets
- Emergency plumbing for commuters who need it fixed before the next train
- CCTV surveys on new-build snagging jobs
- No heating in winter, common in the newer flats
- Commercial drainage for the units off the M3

Hook FAQ
Not for us. New-build pipework can be laid badly even under warranty, and we see it a lot around Hook's newer estates, kinked pipes, wrong falls, joints that were never properly pushed home. We'll tell you honestly whether it's a job for us or something to take back to the developer under NHBC cover, and give you a CCTV report either way so you've got the evidence.
